Join Me In Covering the 2023 World Cup

Did you know that 21% of sports reporters are women and 79% are men?

Through Women Kick Balls, some of the ways I wanted to make a difference as an entrepreneur in sports media is by making articles accessible to all soccer fans and by adding new layers of diversity in a male-dominated industry.

As a young hispanic female in the media, I often don't see people that look like me and hope to be a force of change for others. In covering the growth of women's soccer, I'm excited for this new opportunity to cover the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup to continue that mission of growing the women's game.

This summer I'll be going to New Zealand and Australia to cover my first World Cup. With this campaign, it also contributes to an even greater prospect as I plan to do a Vol. 2 of the WKB Magazine that features NWSL players in the tournament, but it wouldn't be possible without your support.

These tiers are filled with extra perks to bring you along my journey through exclusive video updates, getting your name in the magazine, sending momentos from my trip, and more.

All the funds of this campaign will go towards my trip to continue making coverage accessible to fans while also contributing towards the magazine to come from this tournament. I look forward to sharing more of my journey with you as I plan and prepare for the 2023 Women's World Cup this summer.

Thanks for being here,

Jackie Gutierrez | Founder of Women Kick Balls
